The Robot Wars video games are a set of video games based on the Robot Wars television series. In total there have been five Robot Wars video games (including two separate versions of Extreme Destruction), developed by four different companies but all distributed by BBC Multimedia, the former software publishing division of BBC Worldwide.

The Robot Wars video games were fairly successful. In 2001 in the UK Advanced Destruction, Arenas of Destruction and Metal Mayhem sold around 250,000 units across 4 platforms (Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, PC and PlayStation 2). [1] [2]

Playable robotsEdit

Each game featured various playable robots from both the UK and the US TV series, as well as fictional robots created specifically for the game. Chaos 2 and Pussycat are the only robots to have appeared on all five video games.
