Thermidor 2 is a robot which competed in Series 4-7 of the original UK Robot Wars, alongside both series of Robot Wars Extreme and the rebooted Series 8. Its best performances include Semi-Final finishes in Series 4 and 7, along with a runner-up finish in the Extreme 2 Annihilator.
Thermidor 2 had previously appeared in Robot Wars: Metal Mayhem (represented by its original incarnation Thermador), and would also feature in the PC/Xbox version of Robot Wars: Extreme Destruction. The Game Boy Advance version of Extreme Destruction marks its third video game appearance, where it can be unlocked by winning the Deep Freeze Bash 'n' Dash event on bronze difficulty.

Thermidor 2 is a red, two-wheel drive robot armed with a flipper and claws, designed to resemble a lobster. The in-game model looks identical to its real-life counterpart, with details such as the angry face on its flipper cover.

Thermidor 2's flipper is powerful, and can combine with the claws to push opponents around and flip them into hazards such as the Pit.
Against Thermidor 2[]
It is best to avoid the front of Thermidor 2, and attack the sides and rear. Thermidor 2 has low durability, so constant attacks from a saw or disc will immobilise it in short order.
Differences from Real Life[]
- Thermidor 2 is not invertible in the game.
- It is slightly shorter than the Series 5 Thermidor 2.
- The claws open/close more slowly and function as effective clamping weapons, unlike the faster and weaker spring-loaded claws of the real machine..
