F-One vs Mr Punch?[]
Mr Punch on the left?
Thanks to a link from SpaceManic, someone had made the bold rumour that the robot fighting F-One (officially named by Andrew Marchent) is Mr Punch, upon closer observation it does look VERY similar, from the shaped, paint job (though pink, it could be lighting) weapon placement and the green logo is very similar to the one on Mr Punch.Diotoir the son of nemesis (talk) 12:51, January 9, 2018 (UTC)
- I believe that the robot in the image is actually red. After all, there is notably significant light in the battle that makes both Shunt and F-One brighter than they actually were. Plus, in the areas that were not hit by light, is it pretty clear that the axebot is red. Maybe the robot is indeed Mr Punch, which would be quite interesting to say the least. - I'VE JUST NOTICED SOMETHING! If you look ever so closely at the bottom corner, you'll notice a dark red/brown logo with white writing...though too blurry to tell it does have two letters before a second longer word, like the title of this robot having Mr (which is two letters) and a longer word, Punch, after wards. I also discovered that the hat of the dwarf/gnome on the cover of the robot, has a long GREEN hat that stretches over the robot, similar to this F-One fight minus the writing on the other side. - Very interesting, to say the least. So, I am guessing that if the other robot is indeed Mr Punch, its team would have replaced the rather ineffective flipper with a decent-looking axe? Plus, it looks like it has a rollbar too, which is pretty cool. That said, is there any way to make the writing less blurry (i.e. through Photoshop)? If so, that would probably be our best chance of discovering who the second robot is. SpaceManiac888 (Talk) 21:05, January 17, 2018 (UTC)

- So I've been told it's certainly not Mr Punch here, in fact it could be one of the robots listed on the Team Tornado website, unlikely to be Purple Avenger (obviously) so either Iron Daisy or Wauxford Destroyer...or even Twisted Metal? VenoM[]
I was looking through the Mr Punch website, and found a picture of a spiked pushing robot called VenoM, along with some information [1]. Supposedly this qualified for Series 3 alongside Mr Punch, but I can't find its builder Jamie Henderson on the wiki anywhere, or any other reference to South Bank University, so it must have withdrawn.
