Proposal to rename Mega-Hurts (Extreme 1)[]
I would like to bring this up again because it remains a real sticking point for me (my version of Toast's Inverterbrat campaign). I think it is unreasonable to have the hyphen as the distinction between the two articles as the be-all-end-all. We have Rhino as a precedent. We go so far as to include Skarab on the disambiguation page for Scarab, wheras we don't even have a disambig page for Mega-Hurts. - I can't agree. No matter what the computer bot will always be called "Mega Hurts" and that's what you type to arrrive there. You have to go out of your way to get here, but im a straight shot between Mega-Hurts and Mega-Hurts (Navy), one is far cleaner and easier. Plus, Navy wouldn't even be the distinction, considering we have articles called Rhino (Extreme 1) and Shockwave (Extreme 1). Let's not have any more of those. Scarab wouldn't have a disambiguation page if not for Dutch Scarab and Inverterbrat is insulted to even be compared. TOAST 07:45, July 21, 2020 (UTC)
- I forgot what Rhino and Shockwave were called, so let me amend my proposal to Mega-Hurts (Extreme 1). I still think that the hyphen results in a whole bunch of searches that link to the wrong machine, and it's an absolute pain to have to look up which one has the hyphen every time I'm trying to hyperlink while writing. Series 6?[]
I was looking at the Spam website, and I found a description of its Series 6 qualifier. It says it fought Kronic, a previously-unheard of robot called Present Danger, and "Megahurtz" {sic}. When I first saw the name "Megahurtz", I assumed it was the computer robot, but interestingly, the page describes it as a "low, fast ramming wedge", a description that dosen't fit the original Mega Hurts, but does fit this one! Should we amend the Series Record to say it failed to qualify for Series 6? Drop Zone mk2 (talk) 09:42, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
