Saw Point was a competitor in the fourth series of Robot Wars. It had a large ramming "harpoon" spike at the front and a large double-bladed plough at the back. The harpoon spike was able to split open once impaled. The most distinguishing feature of Saw Point was its means of locomotion; instead of wheels, it travelled around the arena on two large 60cm saw blades, each with an axle spear attached. Saw Point was covered in graphical demon artwork, custom designed by team member Damian Smith and was armoured in mild steel and polycarbonate.
Saw Point reached the second round of Series 4, before losing to Panic Attack, becoming recognised as the closest robot to go out of the arena but survive. Saw Point was destroyed in the battle, with only the two saw wheels salvageable afterwards. The team competed in Series 6 and 7 with Demolition Man, a completely new design.

Series 4Edit
Saw Point, the only newcomer in Heat O of the Fourth Wars, was pitted up against Oblivion 2 and the 20th seed Aggrobot 2. Saw Point drove straight into Oblivion 2 in the first round melee, its jagged wheels damaging Oblivion 2 and causing to break down. Saw Point was then knocked on its side by Aggrobot 2, leaving it only able to drive on one wheel, balanced on its axle spear, much to Jonathan Pearce's delight.
- "Wonderful wheels, great creation - ah hey, a bit wobbly though...what are they doing on those blades, they're all over the place! A bit like a chariot race, in an old Hollywood matine! Great competitors, super stuff Saw Point - I hope they go all the way!"

Saw Point continued to thrash the seeded Aggrobot around the Arena, but Oblivion 2 had broken down from the damage done by Saw Point's wheels, and it was pitted.
- Julia Reed: "What tactics do you have going into the arena?"
- Stephen Thomas: "I think it's going to be panic, panic and attack!"

Added by BizarroKingSaw Point met 4th seed Panic Attack in the next round. Saw Point put on an impressive display of strength by deflecting Panic Attack's initial charge, and attempts by the former champion to lift it resulted only in Panic Attack raising itself off the ground. The second charge, however, left Saw Point on its side, and the third buckled the axle spear. Panic Attack then came over and lifted Saw Point very nearly out of the arena, but ultimately failed to do so. Panic Attack's forks were inserted in Saw Point's ruined axle spear, and the fourth seed dragged the valiant machine around and rammed it into Sergeant Bash and several side walls. After taking damage from Shunt's axe, Saw Point showed no signs of life, and was pitted by Sir Killalot.
