The Scrapyard is an arena in Robot Wars: Arenas of Destruction and in Robot Wars: Extreme Destruction. It is set in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In Arenas of Destruction, it is unlocked after the player gets 10000 credits. In Extreme Destruction, it is unlocked after Stage 4 is completed.

Appearance and HazardsEdit

The arena is rectangular, but in Arenas of Destruction, one corner is marked off and used for a non-functional crane, although in Extreme Destruction, the crane is moved to right next to the crusher and the gap contains Matilda's CPZ with Sir Killalot and Dead Metal's CPZs opposite in both games. A ramp near the crane and a conveyor belt near Dead Metal's CPZ both lead into a crusher, which will trap you and open a pit below you. In Extreme Destruction, there is a button near Matilda's CPZ which will activate the crane, but in Arenas of Destruction the crane is automatic. There is also a scrapped car near Matilda's CPZ which is static in Arenas of Destruction, but in Extreme Destruction, the car door will fire open if a robot gets too close and fling it across the arena. In Collateral Damage on Arenas of Destruction, there are a variety of things you have to destroy; an oven, several fridges and several sofas and chairs, but in Extreme Destruction, there are mostly dropzone items, such as washing machines, but also tyres and fridges. In Endurance mode, competitors enter through the gate behind where you start.
