Reactor was a large, "teardrop-shaped" robot designed in the fashion of a reactor core. Its wheels were wooden and had the nuclear symbol painted on them. Its main weapon was a small lifting plate on the front of the robot. For Series 5, the robot was known as Reactor 2 and the flipper was modified into a "flamp", part-flipper, part-clamping mechanism and an axe was added to the back. Reactor competed in Series 4 and 5, defeating Gemini to reach the heat final in Series 5, where it lost to Firestorm 3. Reactor 2 didn't qualify for Series 6, despite reaching the Heat Final in Series 5. The team also competed in Series 7 with Rhino.

Reactor met Scorpion and the seeded comedians Sir Chromalot. Not much happened until Reactor got under Scorpion's high clearance to flip it. Scorpion couldn't self right, and was left at the mercy of Sgt Bash. This meant Reactor was through to face 11th seeds Wild Thing, but it didn't use it's inventive teardrop shape to good effect as it came under attack for the entire battle, taking damage from Wild Thing, Dead Metal and Sir Killalot, losing on a judges decision.

Reactor used its flipper and flipped Bot Out of Hell onto its side. Bot Out of Hell couldn't self-right, so it was counted out by the Refbot. In the next round against number 18 seeds Gemini, Gemini was on top at the beginning of the fight, flipping Reactor over and over again. Fortunately, Reactor had a round body, making it roll right back onto its wheels. Reactor axed one of the Gemini bots. Then, suddenly, one Gemini cluster flipped itself over. Its partner tried to right the other half, but ended up rolling over as well. Refbot counted Gemini out, to allow Reactor 2 to face 7th seeded Firestorm 3 for a place in the series semi-finals. Firestorm 3 drove right onto Reactor's "flamp", and Reactor launched Firestorm 3 a few feet away from it, but then Firestorm was able to get underneath Reactor and pushed it over to the side wall. Firestorm 3 then flipped Reactor up onto the side wall. Reactor dangled there for a few moments before finally falling out into the House Robot entrance, which eliminated it from the competition.
