Robot statistics correct as of its most recent appearance on the show

Raging Knightmare was the last and most successful of a series of robots built by Team Knightmare. It was a low box-shaped robot with a low pressure flipper mechanism, capable of throwing robots out of the arena. Although it could self-right, Raging Knightmare was fully invertible as well. It reached the semi-finals of Series 7, losing to Tornado. Along the way, it defeated Spawn Again, flipping it out as an act of revenge for Knightmare's loss in Series 4 to Spawn of Scutter.

Raging Knightmare was sold to friends of Team Knightmare; Alan Young of Team BlazerBotics, who rebuilt the robot internally to compete in the main circuit again. Coincidently, it was reverted back to the name of the team's original robot, Knightmare. Knightmare has redeemed its loss in Series 7, managing to flip Tornado out of the arena in a battle after Robot Wars ended.

[edit] Series 7

Raging Knightmare's sole contribution to the opening melee was activating the pit; The Executioner disarmed Topbot before it broke down itself, putting Raging Knightmare through with only minimal action. Next, Raging Knightmare fought Revenge of Trouble & Strife. It was the other machine starting the stronger, whilst Raging Knightmare flipped its adversary, it landed back on its wheels both times, whilst Revenge of Trouble & Strife managed to flip Raging Knightmare twice. When Raging Knightmare attacked Revenge of Trouble & Strife's side, the full body spinner caused it to glance away. Raging Knightmare continued to harrass its adversary, who was worn down despite being the more consistent flipper. Finally, Raging Knightmare succeeded in flipping Revenge of Trouble & Strife, whose srimech failed. Raging Knightmare then pushed Revenge of Trouble & Strife into the pit to qualify for the heat final. This was a vengeance match between Team Scutterbots and Team Knightmare, whose Series 4 machines had fought each other in the Heat Final. Raging Knightmare dealt the first blow, flipping Spawn Again and rocking almost onto its back, whilst Spawn Again self-righted. Raging Knightmare was then shunted back by its larger adversary, flipping itself over. As Spawn Again attempted to finish it, the flipping mechanism exploded, blowing out the lifter of Spawn Again and rendering its flipper useless, whilst Raging Knightmare swiftly self-righted, now in with a strong chance of winning the vengeance. In its haste to activate the pit, Spawn Again skewered its busted flipping arm in the arena floor, leaving it helpless at the flipper of Raging Knightmare. Raging Knightmare flipped Spawn Again, ripping the arm free, before flipping it onto the arena wall. Raging Knightmare fired its flipper once more, knocking Spawn Again backwards over the arena wall, putting Raging Knightmare through to the semi-finals.

Facing reigning champs Tornado, Raging Knightmare found itself outclassed in power and driving skill. Tornado slammed Raging Knightmare straight into the wall, knocking it onto its side. It managed to flip itself back into the action, before attacking and subduing Shunt. Raging Knightmare then ran into Tornado, failing to flip it and only managing to land on its back, before Tornado slammed it into the side wall. Raging Knightmare appeared to have broken down, so Tornado opened the pit and dumped Raging Knightmare down to end Team Knightmare's only Semi-Finals appearance.

Raging Knightmare returned for the annihilator at the end of the series. It qualified from the first round when Robochicken was counted out, having been flipped early on in the fight and not self righting due to a breakdown. At the start of round 2, Flippa never entered the arena, leaving just four robots. Raging Knightmare was flipped several times by Ripper and Ewe 2, but went through when Ewe 2 was flipped onto its side. Raging Knightmare very nearly lost near the end of the fight when Kan Opener pushed it into the pit, but scraped through because Kan Opener was unable to drop it down before Ewe 2 was counted out. Raging Knightmare's luck was out in the third round. After having been repeatedly flipped by Ripper, Kan Opener pushed it down the pit.
