Jabber was a competitor in Series 7 of Robot Wars. It was an invertible flat triangular robot with a 4.5kg, 1500RPM spinning bar blade and rear spikes. Despite the fact it had a 10cm ground clearance, it was heavily armoured and very quick, yet it lost in the first round.

Robot History Edit

Series 7 Edit

Jabber participated in Heat K of the Seventh Wars, and in the first round of the heat, Jabber was drawn up against fellow newcomers Mantis, University Challenge competitors Infernal Contraption and the number 12 seeds Bulldog Breed. In the battle, Jabber was immediately targeted by Mantis, lifted from the ground and carried around the arena. It became lodged on the spike, until Mantis dropped it in the CPZ. It was cornered against the wall by Bash and Mr Psycho, and as a results played very little in the remaining battle. Bulldog Breed then flipped over Jabber as time ran out, with the battle ending in a judges' decision, as all four robots were still mobile at the end of the battle. A very controversial decision allowed the seeded Bulldog Breed to go through (despite its illegal weaponry) along with Mantis, eliminating Infernal Contraption and Jabber from the competition.
