Added by StalwartUKFlipping Weapons were designed to get underneath opposing robots and forcefully throw them into the air. Not only could flipping weapons flip an opponent over, many were capable of throwing opponents high enough to get them over the barrier and out of the arena.
Flipping weapons remain the most popular weapon type in the UK since the main venue for robot combat does not allow heavyweight spinners that rotate at over 500 rpm due to safety reasons.
