Timser is a super heavyweight competitor robot in the games Robot Wars: Arenas of Destruction and Robot Wars: Extreme Destruction, undertaking similar guises in each appearance.
Arenas of Destruction[]
In Arenas of Destruction, Timser's weapons are two cutting discs and it is armoured in steel and has a round body. It cannot self-right.
Strategies[]
Using Timser[]
Because Timser has 2 blades, you can use this to your advantage by using one of the discs to cause serious damage and using the other one just in case the first one breaks. Otherwise, you can spin around to deal damage with both of the discs. Avoid flippers however, as Timser cannot self-right.
Against Timser[]
Avoid Timser's cutting discs - they can cause a lot of damage very quickly. Timser is, however, very easy to flip, with a high ground clearance and fairly unstable shape - ram it from the side and Timser should roll over, and as it cannot self-right, this is a very viable tactic.

Extreme Destruction[]
In Extreme Destruction, there is only one disc rather than two and it is armoured in Kevlar instead of steel. It still cannot self-right.
Strategies[]
Using Timser[]
As Timser no longer has the advantage of the 2 discs, your best bet is to use the remaining disc to attempt to cut into opponents, and should the disc break off, your only hope is to lure the robots into the hazards. Avoid flippers, as Timser cannot self-right.
Against Timser[]
It's easier to defeat Timser in this game, as there is only one disc. Be careful of the lone weapon it has, though, as it can still do some damage, so try and flip it over, as it cannot self right.
