Anarchy was a competitor robot which fought in the Featherweight Championship of Robot Wars: The Second Wars. In the final, shown as a partial recap in The Grudge Matches, it lost the Championship to former Series 1 Heat Finalist Demolisher after breaking down early on in the battle.

Ultimately, Anarchy was not included in the brief televised broadcast of the battle.

Design

Anarchy was a wedge-shaped robot made out of a radio-controlled car, with the wedge serving as the robot's only form of offence. Little else is known about the robot as it was not seen on television, although it was coloured grey and red with a red cross on the top panel and a face on the front wedge. It was described as being "very fast" but was easily disabled.

Qualification

Although it was a featherweight, Anarchy attended the Series 2 auditions like the other heavyweight machines, and was permitted to enter the Featherweight Championship.

Robot History

Series 2

Anarchy competed exclusively in the Featherweight Championship, aired as part of The Grudge Matches. For the title, it faced off against Armadillo, Deadline, Demolisher, and The Ripper. According to Team Danby of Deadline, a sixth competitor may have also been part of the fight.

Anarchy began sluggishly moving towards Demolisher at the start of the battle, but would not proceed any further than this. It then received a slam from the silver machine which left it motionless. Anarchy was ruled immobile and then attacked by Matilda. The battle was ultimately won by Demolisher, while Anarchy, like other robots in the same bout, did not make the televised cut of the fight.

Trivia

• Anarchy's team helped The Yorkshire Rippers to rewire The Ripper before their featherweight battle. Ultimately, neither would move more than a few metres in battle.
• Anarchy is one of four known competitors in Series 2 to be omitted from the televised broadcast, alongside fellow featherweight Deadline, Scorpion and an Unidentified lightweight robot. Craig Danby of the Deadline team has also suggested that the Featherweight Championship may have contained a sixth competitor, which would present another unidentified machine omitted from the broadcast.
