Fatal Traction was a six-wheel driven box shaped robot with a roll cage and built as a weapons platform. It had a lot of traction due to solid rubber wheels and lots of motors, but was flammable as it was armoured in plywood and plastic. It fought exclusively in the New Blood Championship of Extreme 2. It was armed with several flywheels. Fatal Traction won through to the second round, losing to Cedric Slammer.

Its name is a pun on the movie Fatal Attraction. Its name also links to the fact it has great traction on the arena floor.

Extreme 2Edit

Fatal Traction faced Piranha and Doctor Fist in its first round battle. Piranha began by attacking Fatal Traction with its blade several times, then pushing it around the arena. While Doctor Fist was having steering problems, Piranha continued to shove Fatal Traction around the arena and attack it. Fatal Traction finally began to attack Piranha with its flywheel, doing little damage. Then it opened the pit. All the while, Doctor Fist was just spinning around in circles. The two robots continued to attack each other. Meanwhile, Refbot had counted out Doctor Fist, and both other robots went through.

In the second round, Fatal Traction was drawn against Cedric Slammer. The spinning disc robot straight away tore off a side panel protecting three of Fatal Traction's wheels. It hit the box robot several more times, doing more damage to it. Almost instantly, Fatal Traction was immobilised. Sir Killalot picked it up and dropped it into the middle of the arena. Then Refbot counted it out. Sir Killalot's breastplate had fallen off in the confusion. After being played with by Growler, Fatal Traction was flipped by the floor flipper and cease was called.
