[edit] Competiting robots
In comparison to later All-Star tournaments, there were no specific definition of an "All-Star" robot. Instead, robots that had at least reached the semi-final of either the UK or World Championships competed in this event, although this number was cut to only sixteen candidates, out of potentially many more.

[edit] Chaos 2 vs X-Terminator
Chaos 2 charged right at X-Terminator and flipped it over. X-Terminator self-righted, only to land on Chaos 2 and get flipped aside. Chaos 2 tried to flip it again, but in the process jammed its flipper in the open position. X-Terminator took advantage and hit Chaos 2 with its axe, but ended up jamming its own weapon as well. Eventually, Chaos 2's flipper was knocked back into place and it was able to flip X-Terminator over. With its main weapon no longer functioning, X-Terminator was counted out and Matilda and Shunt attacked it for the rest of the fight.
Winner: Chaos 2
[edit] Diotoir vs Wheely Big Cheese
Diotoir was able to get underneath Wheely Big Cheese at the start of the fight, but only managed to lift it up slightly. The two machines spent most of the early match trying to get underneath one another. In the end, Wheely Big Cheese got underneath Diotoir and threw it over, breaking off both of the Irish machine's eyes in the process. Wheely Big Cheese then threw Diotoir against the arena wall, where Sir Killalot attacked it, even though it wasn't technically immobilised or in a CPZ. Refbot gave Sir Killalot a yellow card warning, before counting out Diotoir, permitting the House Robots to attack. Diotoir was shoved onto the flame pit, but escaped before it could catch fire.
Winner: Wheely Big Cheese
[edit] Firestorm 3 vs Panic Attack
This was a rematch and a grudge match from the Third Wars when Firestorm ended Panic Attack's reign as champion. Panic Attack charged right at Firestorm 3, but at just the last moment tried to veer to the side. This allowed Firestorm to get right underneath the side of the skirts, and it flipped Panic Attack over. Firestorm then pushed Panic Attack against the arena wall to prevent it from self-righting, and managed to get the Welsh machine stuck on the wall. Sir Killalot, Dead Metal and Firestorm then each took turns trying to get Panic Attack off the wall, but it kept getting stuck, and was eventually counted out.
Winner: Firestorm 3
[edit] Behemoth vs Hypno-Disc
Hypno-Disc, by far the favourite, quickly spun up its disc and charged at Behemoth. However, Behemoth was able to deflect Hypno-Disc by lifting its scoop just before impact. After doing this several times, Behemoth pushed Hypno-Disc into Sgt Bash, who grabbed the spinning flywheel of Hypno-Disc and stopped it from operating. Dead Metal then attacked Behemoth, even though it wasn't in any danger, and was given a yellow card by Refbot. Behemoth flipped Hypno-Disc over, but Hypno-Disc self-righted and tried to come back into the fight, but one of its wheels then locked up, preventing it from moving freely. Behemoth pushed it into another CPZ, but was attacked by Dead Metal again. Refbot gave Dead Metal a red card, which prohibated it from coming out of its CPZ. Behemoth managed to take advantage of Hypno-Disc's drive problems by pushing it onto the flame pit, where it was left completely immobile.
Winner: Behemoth
[edit] Wild Thing vs Dominator 2
Wild Thing dodged Dominator 2's first blow, as well as several others. However, Dominator 2 stuck its wedge underneath Wild Thing, before the Adams family machine attacked the side of Dominator 2, cutting into the wheel. More exchanges like this followed, with Dominator 2 landing a blow on Wild Thing, but Wild Thing landing blows on Dominator 2's wheels. Dominator 2 pushed Wild Thing into the side wall, and attempted to hit it with the axe. However, it became evident that Dominator 2's wheel had become tattered by the spinning weapon of Wild Thing. Finally, Dominator 2 hit Wild Thing with its axe and pushed it into the side wall. Escaping, Wild Thing pushed Dominator 2 into the side wall, before Dominator 2 tried to hit the axe again. Time finally ran out, and the judges awarded the win to Wild Thing based on agression.
Winner: Wild Thing
[edit] Tornado vs 3 Stegs to Heaven
Tornado quickly closed the gap, and pushed 3 Stegs onto the flame pit and into the side wall. 3 Stegs darted away, and Tornado pursued it and pushed it around the arena. 3 Stegs cut Tornado, but Tornado dodged away and cut into 3 Stegs to Heaven's wheel. It then rammed 3 Stegs into the side wall, where Sir Killalot caught it and carried it over the flame pit. Killalot put it down, and Tornado rammed 3 Stegs into the side wall again, where the chain drive for its right wheel fell off. It was flipped by the floor flipper and picked up by Sir Killalot again, who threw it across the arena. Tornado attacked again, but time expired, and the judges awarded the win to Tornado.
Winner: Tornado
[edit] Gemini vs Razer
Razer managed to intercept one of the Gemini twins as they split and crushed into the lightweight armour. The other half of Gemini tried to overturn Razer. The first attempt was unsuccessful, but the second attack threw both Razer and its captured Gemini twin onto their backs. Both robots were able to escape, before Razer then attacked the other half of Gemini, grabbing its flipper, but being unable to puncture through it. The first Gemini twin flipped Razer over, again taking its captured robot with it. Once again, both were able to escape. After a little while, Razer grabbed the second Gemini robot again and punctured through the armour, into the tyre, puncturing it. Eventually, it let go and dodged away from both twins until time ran out. The judges gave the match to Razer.
Not shown on the televised version was an incident that happened after Razer drove away from Gemini's attack, when the fight was apparantly stopped. As Razer drove over the floor flipper, it activated, throwing Razer up into the air and back into the flipper mechanism. The flipper then attempted to close, threatening to crush the World Champion. Because the flipper was only meant to be used on immobilised robots, the judges stopped the fight and judged it up until the flipper had been used. The incident was edited out when the fight was shown on TV.
Winner: Razer

[edit] Firestorm 3 vs Wild Thing
Firestorm 3 flipped Wild Thing over, with Wild Thing self-righting. As Wild Thing pulled away, the disc slashed part of the Diotoir fur from Firestorm 3. Wild Thing pushed Firestorm 3 against the side wall, but Firestorm 3 pulled away and flipped Wild Thing again. Wild Thing self-righted, but its disc was clearly not working. With the loss of its offensive weaponry, Wild Thing was forced to ram into Firestorm. However, Dead Metal caught Wild Thing and pulled it into a CPZ, where it and Shunt attacked Wild Thing. Wild Thing escaped Dead Metal and Shunt, before being flipped by Firestorm again. However, as Wild Thing began to self-right, Firestorm flipped it again, and the self-righting arm was stuck open. The arm propped Wild Thing up off the ground where it was left immobile. Dead Metal caught and pitted Wild Thing, with Firestorm 3 attempting to flip Dead Metal. Shunt retaliated by axing Firestorm, only to get flipped itself.
[edit] Razer vs Behemoth
This was a rematch from the First World Championship final, and also the Southern Annihilator. Razer started by getting underneath Behemoth at the front and crushing the scoop at the front. Behemoth still managed to force Razer into the CPZ. Behemoth then escaped and flipped Razer over. Razer tried to self-right, but Behemoth forced it into the arena side wall, keeping it in place with the scoop. Razer finally escaped and gripped hold of Behemoth's side with the claw, creating more damage. Behemoth managed to flip Razer again just as 'Cease', was called. The judges unanimously gave Razer the win.
