Dome was, as the name suggests, a dome-shaped robot that competed in Robot Wars. The robot had a dodeconal base with four belt-driven wheels. Its weapon was a pneumatic trebuchet protected by a 37-sided symmetrical steel frame with steel and aluminium sheeting. The team wore white overcoats and the two men wore bald caps like The Coneheads. The robot competed exclusively in Series 5, and lost its only battle to the experienced Diotoir machine.

The Dome team had previously attempted to qualify for the Third Wars with a robot called Samurai, but it failed to qualify.

Series 5Edit

In the first round of the Fifth Wars, Dome went up against Diotoir, a robot who had fallen at the eliminator stage the series before. In the battle, Diotoir approached the more sluggish Dome machine and used its scoop weapon to flip Dome over straight away. Dome was unable to self right using its shape or weaponry, rendering it immobile. Diotoir rounded off an easy victory by activating the pit release button and pushing the newcomers into the pit, eliminating Dome from the competition.
