Beast of Bodmin was a robot built by the Bodmin Community College team which competed in Series 3. The robot was similar in shape to Roadblock and had a circular saw at the back just like its predecessor. However, the new robot was coated in fibreglass which was painted in the yellow and black colours of Cornwall. The robot also featured a new lifting 'tusk' at the front and a set of eyes at that back with eyelids which could blink.

Beast of Bodmin's first battle of The Third Wars was against Crusher, who trapped Beast of Bodmin and attacked it with its crushing weapon. Eventually, Beast of Bodmin was able to attack the side of Crusher and was able to break one of its tracks, leaving it immobile. In Round 2 it fought a grudge match against Onslaught, and Beast of Bodmin was twice lifted by its opponent but was not tipped over. Onslaught then drove up the wedge of Beast of Bodmin and landed upside-down, unable to self-right. In the Heat Final, Invertebrat also tried to flip Beast of Bodmin but was unsuccessful. Beast of Bodmin then pushed Invertebrat into the house robots, where it was attacked until it became immobilised.
In Round 1 of the Semi-Finals, Beast of Bodmin came up against Blade. In this battle, Beast of Bodmin had three unsuccessful attempts at flipping Blade over, before finally tipping its opponent onto its side using its lifting ram. Blade was then tipped onto its back and immobilised. In Round 2, Beast of Bodmin came up against Steg-O-Saw-Us, which proved rather more difficult to defeat. Steg-O-Saw-Us used its brute force to continuously ram Beast of Bodmin into the arena wall until the Cornish machine started to slow down, and eventually became immobilised. The team retired from Robot Wars after this defeat eliminated them from the competition.
